FANTASY WORLD ADVENTURE MUSIC

I’ve assembled a package of 28 tracks and made them available on the Unity Asset Store. This package is designed for up-and-coming game designers creating games in the fantasy genre that don’t quite yet have the budget to hire a composer.

I have started a project called Songs of Avelia, a growing collection of original soundtracks organized into intuitive playlists to be used in Tabletop Roleplaying Games (TTRPGs).

Four years ago, I plunged into the world of Dungeons & Dragons, inspired by the wicked-funny shenanigans of D&D podcasts like The Adventure Zone, Critical Roll, Dungeons & Daddies, and Nerd Poker.

What started as a fun hobby with friends has evolved into a four-year campaign called The Glass Moon, set in Avelia, which we returned to each week.

In addition to creating the world, characters, and conflicts, I composed the score, just as you would for a radio drama or movie. I wrote music battles, explorations, and encounters, inspired by my favourite film and video game soundtracks.

Rather than keep this all to myself, I’ve decided to share my work with anyone who enjoys original orchestral soundscapes and wants to use them for their own tabletop games.

I’ve created a Patreon to garner interest in expanding the project into a larger body of work, and a stand alone application that would allow users greater control over the dramatic structure of the music.

Reach out if you’d like music on your next tabletop podcast adventure!
